The end result of all the Bears' personnel department changes Tuesday is to try to decrease the chances of draft day bombs like (DEs) Michael Haynes (2003) or Dan Bazuin (2007), or players with injury questions like (OT) Chris Williams (2008). There are only two current Bears drafted in the first round by the team who have started NFL games since Brian Urlacher (2000). They are OT Gabe Carimi (2011, 2 starts) and Williams (2008, 38 starts).
