The Week 2 NFL preseason schedule concludes on Sunday with Packers vs. Broncos and Saints vs. 49ers. Both games begin at 8 p.m. ET. Although three of these teams have no debate over their Week 1 starting quarterback, the Broncos are in a three-way competition in training camp and preseason with Jarrett Stidham, Bo Nix and Zach Wilson. All three showed positives in Denver's 34-30 win over the Colts in their first preseason contest, but Nix, the No. 12 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, may have had the most impressive performance after completing 15 of 21 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown.

Should daily Fantasy football players include any of these Denver quarterbacks from the NFL DFS player pool in their Sunday NFL DFS lineups? 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said he'd like to play his starters for a series or two against the Saints, so who are options lower in the depth chart who will play more snaps and factor into your NFL DFS strategy? Before making any NFL DFS picks for Sunday on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to check out the NFL DFS lineup advice, strategy and player stacks from SportsLine NFL daily Fantasy expert Jimmie Kaylor.

Now, Kaylor has turned his attention to Sunday's 2024 NFL preseason schedule and just locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see his picks and analysis at SportsLine.

Top NFL preseason DFS picks for Sunday

One of Kaylor's top DFS picks for Sunday is Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. The expectation entering training camp was that Nix would start the season on the bench with veteran Jarrett Stidham getting the start. But Nix may be forcing Sean Payton to put him on the field to start the 2024 NFL season if he continues playing like he did in the preseason opener. Nix completed 71.4% (15 of 21) of his passes for 125 yards and led Denver to points in four of his five possessions. The one drive Denver didn't score on was ended by a wide receiver fumble on the first play of the series.

Nix may be a rookie, but he enters the NFL at 24-years-old after an extensive college career. He played 61 games over five college seasons at Auburn and Oregon and excelled over his last two years as a starter at Oregon. Nix completed 77.4% of his passes for 4,508 yards and 45 touchdowns last season with the Ducks. Nix proved himself at college and can prove himself once again in the preseason to potentially earn the starting job in Week 1 for Denver.

Part of Kaylor's Sunday NFL DFS strategy includes Packers running back Emanuel Wilson. Wilson led the Green Bay backfield in carries (13) and yards (67) last week while averaging 5.2 yards per carry. Wilson showed his burst through the line of scrimmage, combined with his ability to finish with power on a 5-yard touchdown run on a third-and-1. He easily picked up the first down up the middle before running into contact and powering over the goal line for the second-quarter touchdown.

The Packers signed Wilson as an undrafted free agent in 2023. The 5-foot-10, 226-pound runner showcased his power last week and could be a featured part of the Green Bay game plan again on Sunday. Rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd suffered a hamstring injury last week and won't play on Sunday, giving Wilson the opportunity for an even larger role this weekend. You can see the rest of Kaylor's NFL DFS picks here.
