Draft Scouting Report:
Rating: 74.07 (Chance to start)
Pro Comparison: Sam Hubbard
Strengths:
Uses hands well to soften the edge. Great strength to contain the corner. Capable of sliding inside depending upon the situation. Shows some counter usage. Does a good job of reading the quarterback's eyes to peel back and impact passing lanes. Good stack and shed.
Weaknesses:
Limited explosive traits. Change of direction is a bit stiff. Average-to-below average arm length. Goes with the block too easily at times and gets washed out of his gaps. Limbs are too erratic at times. Has to do a better job of finishing plays despite showing a good motor.
Accolades:
- 2021: All-Big 12 second team
- 2021: Led Oklahoma in sacks (8.0)
