Mann retreated to the bench Tuesday as LaMelo Ball (rest) returned to the starting lineup. Despite the demotion, Mann continued his strong preseason by leading the bench in scoring and was second on the Hornets in that category behind Brandon Miller (26). Mann is expected to come off the bench during the 2024-25 regular season, but he could have a big role on some nights should Ball and/or Miller be sidelined.
