Ahmed Hill: Tallies six rebounds
Hill compiled three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist over 15 minutes in Friday's 118-98 loss to the Hustle.
Hill has continued to come off the bench in each of the first six games of the G League season, and he's had inconsistent production for the Swarm. After scoring 14 points in the season opener, he's been unable to generate significant output on the scoreboard due to a low shot volume recently. He's now averaging 4.2 points and 3.0 rebounds over 16.3 minutes per game this year.

Ahmed Hill: Scores 14 in depth role
Hill notched 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four assists and two rebounds over 20 minutes in Thursday's 118-106 loss to Westchester.
Hill came off the bench in Thursday's G League season opener, but he was dominant from beyond the arc and recorded 14 points for the Swarm during the defeat. The 24-year-old appears to have a role for Greensboro in the G League, even if he continues to come off the bench.

Hill did not play in this one, and his absence was not injury-related. It's unclear why he could not find the floor, though Northern Arizona had 10 players make appearances. It looks like Hill may be on the outside looking in at serious reserve minutes. On the season, the 24-year-old is averaging 10.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists over 26.7 minutes per game.

Hill finished with 19 points (7-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 21 minutes of G League action during Tuesday's 125-114 loss to Rio Grande Valley.
Hill bounced back from a poor shooting performance Saturday (4-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), hitting 70.0 percent of his field goals Tuesday. It was his most efficient outing since Dec. 10, when he went 9-for-12 from the field. Hill remains one of the few scoring threats along with Jared Harper and Ike Nwamu for Northern Arizona and sees 9.5 field-goal attempts per game, hitting 42.7 percent of the time.

It was a pretty typical outing for Hill, whose box score came pretty close to his season averages of 10.5 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. The 24-year-old is not a focal point of the offense and figures to continue posting modest lines in the future.

Hill registered 17 points (7-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds, two steals and one assist across 34 minutes during Friday's G League loss to South Bay.
Following Friday's performance, Hill has now shot 50.0 percent or better from the field in four of his past five games. In the same span, he's produced at an even more impressive 53.6 percent from beyond the arc. What goes up must eventually come down, but Hill will ride his hot hand as long as he can until regression inevitably hits.

Hill tallied 22 points (9-12 FG, 4-5 3Pt), five rebounds and two steals across 32 minutes of G League action during Tuesday's 123-114 loss to the Legends.
Hill shot an efficient 75 percent from the field, including an impressive 4-for-5 from beyond the arc. Despite the strong shooting performance, Hill was a liability on defense as evidenced by his season-low minus-22 net rating. He'll try to pick it up on the defensive end and put forth a more-balanced game Friday against South Bay.

Hill registered 27 points (9-18 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists and a steal across 39 minutes during Tuesday's 116-110 G League loss to Memphis.
Hill shot 50 percent from the field on his way to a season-high 27 points. His 18 attempts also marked a season high, as his previous high was 12. The 24-year-old also finished turnover-free on the night, while the rest of his team combined for 26 and suffered a six-point loss.

After his release from the Hornets, Hill joined Northern Arizona on November 10. Through three games, he's averaging 9.3 points on 39.3 percent shooting to go along with 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 28.0 minutes. A five-year player at Virginia Tech, the rookie appears to have earned a significant role on the Suns' G League affiliate.

Hornets' Ahmed Hill: Waived by Hornets
Hill was waived by the Hornets on Saturday, Rod Boone of The Athletic reports.
Hill finished as a fifth-year senior at Virginia Tech last season and was looking to earn a role in the league. He figures to be a prime candidate for the Hornets' G-League affiliate in Greensboro.
