76ers' Quentin Grimes: Will rest Monday
Grimes won't play Monday against the Pelicans due to rest.
After recording 26 points (7-18 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six assists, five rebounds and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 loss to the Hawks, Grimes will get the night off for maintenance on the second leg of a back-to-back set. With Grimes joining a crowded injury report, players such as Ricky Council, Jared Butler, Justin Edwards and Chuma Okeke could all be in store for boosted minutes.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Keeps impressive stretch alive
Grimes notched 26 points (7-18 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 9-11 FT), five rebounds, six assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 loss to the Hawks.
Grimes reached the 25-point mark for the eighth game in a row, and it wouldn't be a stretch to say Grimes has been the Sixers' best player since the beginning of March. He opened up the month with a 44-point masterpiece in a win over the Warriors and hasn't slowed down, averaging a robust 28.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game in 12 contests since the beginning of the month.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Hands out 10 dimes
Grimes finished with 25 points (10-20 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, 10 assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Friday's 128-120 loss to the Spurs.
Grimes opened the month of March with a 44-point performance against the Warriors in a 126-119 win and has never looked back, establishing himself as one of the most prolific scoring weapons in the NBA during the last few weeks. This was his seventh straight game with at least 25 points, and he's averaging a robust line of 28.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.1 dimes per game since the beginning of March (11 starts).

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Leads all scorers despite loss
Grimes finished Wednesday's 133-100 loss to Oklahoma City with 28 points (10-21 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, five assists and three steals in 32 minutes.
Grimes continues to play the best basketball of his young career, having now scored at least 20 points in six consecutive games. The 76ers have no reason to hold him back, given they are simply playing for lottery balls at this point. In seven games over the past two weeks, Grimes is averaging 28.1 points to go with 5.3 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2.3 steals and 3.6 three-pointers in 33.9 minutes per contest.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Drops career-high 46 points Monday
Grimes produced 46 points (15-27 FG, 8-14 3Pt, 8-13 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in 43 minutes during Monday's 144-137 overtime loss to the Rockets.
Grimes led all scorers in Monday's high-scoring affair en route to establishing a new career high with his 46 points. The 24-year-old swingman is handling extreme usage for the depleted 76ers at the moment, and he should continue to do so until Tyrese Maxey (back) re-enters the mix. Over his last five outings, Grimes has averaged 32.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 1.0 blocks and 4.2 three-pointers in 34.6 minutes while shooting 42.9 percent from deep.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Ruled out Friday
Grimes (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's game against Indiana, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.
Grimes will miss his first outing with the 76ers due to an injury or illness since being traded to Philadelphia on Feb. 4. With the 24-year-old combo guard joining a litany of Sixers on the sideline, Jeff Dowtin, Ricky Council and Jalen Hood-Schifino are candidates for a bump in minutes. Grimes' next opportunity to feature will come Sunday against Dallas.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Iffy for Friday
Grimes (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against Indiana, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
The 76ers, who are already extremely shorthanded, can't seem to catch a break -- Kelly Oubre (knee) is also questionable. Grimes was terrific during Wednesday's 118-105 loss to Toronto, recording 29 points (11-23 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks over 31 minutes.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Game-high 29 points Wednesday
Grimes registered 29 points (11-23 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 118-105 loss to Toronto.
Grimes led both teams in scoring Wednesday despite his inefficiency from three-point range. The 2021 first-round pick showed off his defensive chops with three steals, which is the third time he's reached that mark in his last five outings. Grimes has started since Feb. 12 due to the multitude of injuries on the 76ers, and over that span he has averaged 21.1 points on 51.4 percent shooting (including 39.8 percent from three on 6.9 3PA/G), 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.7 blocks over 32.9 minutes per game.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Pours in 35 points
Grimes finished with 35 points (14-25 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals in 39 minutes during Monday's 132-123 loss to the Hawks.
Grimes sparked an otherwise lifeless Philly squad Monday night by catching fire from deep, where he added 15 of his 35 points. He's been on an impressive run of late, totaling 25 or more points in four of his last six appearances. Grimes has also been an asset on defense, tallying nine steals in his last four games.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Leads charge in Sunday's win
Grimes racked up 25 points (6-13 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 9-9 FT), one rebound, six assists, one block and two steals in 27 minutes during Sunday's 126-122 victory over the Jazz.
The fourth-year guard tied Lonnie Walker for the team lead in scoring. With Kyle Lowry (hip) and Eric Gordon (wrist) both sidelined, Grimes has started 10 straight games, and his usage has only increased in March with Tyrese Maxey (back) and Paul George (groin) also banged up. Despite a few inconsistent performances, Grimes has averaged 18.9 points, 5.1 boards, 3.6 assists, 2.6 threes and 1.4 steals during his starting stint while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor and 40.6 percent from beyond the arc.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Poor shooting display
Grimes supplied six points (2-11 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Thursday's 123-105 loss to the Celtics.
Grimes opened the month of March with a 44-point performance against the Warriors on March 1 and also posted a 30-point effort versus the Timberwolves on Tuesday, but he couldn't come near those numbers in this one. Grimes had an awful shooting performance, but at least he salvaged some value due to his contributions in other categories, such as rebounds and assists. Grimes will aim to bounce back when the 76ers take on the Jazz on Sunday.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Strikes for game-high 30 on Tuesday
Grimes posted a game-high 30 points (12-18 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and three steals in 38 minutes during Tuesday's 126-112 loss to Minnesota.
With Tyrese Maxey (back) out and Paul George (groin) forced from Tuesday's game after three quarters, Grimes once again had to shoulder the scoring load for the Sixers. The fourth-year guard has produced at least 30 points in three of eight contests since moving into the starting lineup, averaging 19.8 points, 5.3 boards, 3.1 assists, 2.6 threes and 1.4 steals over that stretch while shooting 55.0 percent from the floor and 42.0 percent from long distance. Neither Maxey nor George may be out for long, but Grimes could remain a big part of the Philly offense even after they are back on the court.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Starting against Minnesota
Grimes (bicep) is available and in the starting five for Tuesday's game versus the Timberwolves.
Grimes has been upgraded from questionable to available Tuesday despite dealing with left bicep soreness. Grimes has averaged 18.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.3 minutes across his previous seven starting appearances.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Tending to sore bicep
Grimes is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Timberwolves due to left bicep soreness.
After erupting for a career-high 44 points in Saturday's win over the Warriors, Grimes once again saw big minutes (38) in Monday's 119-102 loss to the Trail Blazers, but his production took a step back. He finished Monday's game with 14 points (6-15 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists and six rebounds, and he apparently also hurt his arm at some point along the way. If Grimes is able to shake off the injury and play Tuesday, he could be in line for plenty of usage with six other players already ruled out and two other 76ers [Paul George (groin) and Justin Edwards (ankle)] joining him as questionable.

76ers' Quentin Grimes: Shooting woes from outside in loss
Grimes racked up 14 points (6-15 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine assists and six rebounds in 38 minutes during Monday's 119-102 loss to the Trail Blazers.
The 24-year-old finished as the club's third-leading scorer behind Andre Drummond (25 points) and Justin Edwards (16 points), who left the game in the fourth quarter due to an ankle injury. However, Grimes struggled from three-point range while coming off a career-best performance in Saturday's win over Golden State, during which he posted 44 points and sank six of his nine attempts from beyond the arc. On a more positive note, the fourth-year pro did record a team- and season-high mark in assists Monday, finishing one assist shy of his first double-double through 57 regular-season appearances. Grimes could receive increased responsibilities on the offensive end during Tuesday's game against Minnesota if Tyrese Maxey (back) is unable to suit up, especially with Kyle Lowry's (hip) status also up in the air.
