Spurs' Dylan Harper: Starting sans Fox
Harper will start in Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Harper will fill in for the absent De'Aaron Fox (back), marking the rookie guard's second career start. Harper played 28 minutes and logged 24 points, four rebounds and three assists in his first start of the campaign.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Scoring punch off bench
Harper contributed 21 points (9-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six assists, four rebounds and two blocks over 25 minutes during Monday's 136-111 victory over Miami.
Harper reverted to the bench after a 24-point performance as a starter Saturday but maintained his scoring output, eclipsing the 20-point mark for the second straight game. Not known as much of a shot blocker, Monday marked the guard's fourth time this season with multiple rejections. Outside shooting has been a weakness for Harper in his rookie year, though he entered the matchup with Miami shooting 53.8 percent from beyond the arc over his previous 10 contests and kept that surge going with three triples in a blowout victory.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Not starting vs. Miami
Harper won't start Monday's game against the Heat.
The rookie first-rounder will slide to the second unit due to Stephon Castle returning from a two-game absence with a hip issue. Harper has averaged 12.2 points, 5.2 assists and 4.2 rebounds in 24.4 minutes per game over his last five appearances off the bench.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Career-high 24 points
Harper posted 24 points (9-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes during Saturday's 134-119 win over the Pacers.
Harper matched his career high with 24 points, making the most of his temporary promotion. With Devin Vassell (hamstring) and Stephon Castle (hip) both sidelined, Harper was given the starting nod for the first time in his young career. While this was certainly an encouraging performance, managers shouldn't expect nights like this all too often. Assuming Castle and Vassell are back in the lineup sooner rather than later, Harper would go back to being nothing more than a streaming consideration.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Added to starting lineup
Harper will start Saturday's game against the Pacers.
Devin Vassell (hamstring) was scratched, opening up a spot for Harper in the first unit. It'll be the rookie's first career start. He's averaging 11.1 points, 3.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds across 22.2 minutes per game this season.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Good to go Tuesday
Harper (calf) is available for Tuesday's game against the Kings.
Harper will shed his questionable tag and return from a two-game absence due to a right calf contusion. With the rookie first-rounder back in action, Jordan McLaughlin will likely fall out of the rotation. Harper has averaged 12.3 points, 3.9 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 triples in 22.9 minutes per contest over seven March appearances.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Listed as questionable
Harper (calf) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Kings, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson said Monday that he's optimistic Harper will be available for Tuesday's game, but it sounds like he could be a game-time call. With Devin Vassell (ankle) out, Harper could see a large role if he's able to suit up.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Expected to suit up Tuesday
Spurs head coach Mitch Johnson said Monday that he's optimistic Harper (calf) will be available for Tuesday's game in Sacramento, Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Along with Harper, Johnson also expressed confidence that center Luke Kornet (knee) would be available Tuesday, which would bring the San Antonio rotation back to full strength. While Harper was sidelined for a second straight game in Monday's 119-115 win over the Clippers due to a bruised right calf, Stephon Castle (36 minutes) and Devin Vassell (35 minutes) saw slightly elevated roles, and Jordan McLaughlin (10 minutes) was added to the rotation.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Won't play Monday
Harper (calf) has been ruled out for Monday's game versus the Clippers.
Harper is slated to miss his second straight game Monday, and for now, he should be considered questionable at best for Tuesday's game in Sacramento. Carter Bryant will have the chance for some extended minutes with Harper out.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Not playing Saturday
Harper (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Hornets, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports.
The rookie first-rounder will miss his first game since Feb. 4 while recovering from a right calf contusion, and his next chance to play is Monday against the Clippers. In Harper's absence, Jordan McLaughlin and Keldon Johnson are both candidates to see more minutes off the bench in Saturday's home tilt.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Iffy to face Charlotte
Harper is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Hornets due to a right calf contusion.
The calf issue is a new concern for Harper, who hasn't missed a game since Feb. 4. If the rookie first-rounder is unable to suit up, Jordan McLaughlin and Keldon Johnson would be candidates to see increased playing time off the bench.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Hot shooting continues
Harper ended with 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds and six assists across 26 minutes during Sunday's 145-120 win over the Rockets.
The rookie first-rounder is settling in nicely as the Spurs' sixth man, but Harper's fantasy upside is capped while De'Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle are healthy. Over his last eight appearances, Harper has averaged 13.0 points, 4.4 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 24.1 minutes per game while shooting 60.0 percent from the floor.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Showing point guard skills
Harper contributed 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 29 minutes during Thursday's 126-110 win over the Nets.
This was Harper's second game in a row with seven assists, nearly double his season average (3.8). The rookie from Rutgers has four performances with an assist total greater than seven so far this year, as he continues to develop off the bench. Harper also played the most minutes of any Spurs player Thursday as San Antonio led comfortably throughout.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Logs 29 minutes in win
Harper accumulated 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 110-107 win over the Raptors.
Harper scored in double digits for the sixth time in his past seven games, continuing to push his case for more playing time. While there is certainly a case to be made for Harper playing a more significant role, at this point it appears he is more of a schedule play than a must-roster player.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Strong effort off bench
Harper ended Thursday's 121-94 win over the Suns with 17 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes.
Harper paced the San Antonio bench in scoring and continued to see a healthy workload Thursday after averaging 26.3 minutes per game in his last three appearances before the All-Star break. He's scored in double figures in four straight matchups, though he failed to contribute much outside of the scoring column in the comfortable victory over Phoenix.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Scores eight in Rising Stars loss
Harper had eight points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist across nine minutes in Team Melo's 25-24 loss to Team Vince in the Rising Stars championship game Friday.
The 19-year-old guard led all players in points and tied the game high in rebounds during the championship game, though it wasn't enough to power Team Melo past VJ Edgecombe and Team Vince. Harper also hit the game-winning jumper over his older brother Ron Harper in the semifinals and finished with four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in Team Melo's 40-34 win over Team Austin.

Spurs' Dylan Harper: Chips in 15 off bench Tuesday
Harper finished with 15 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal over 27 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 136-108 win over the Lakers.
It was another strong effort from the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Harper has scored at least 15 points in four of his last six games, averaging 14.3 points, 3.8 boards, 3.8 assists and 1.0 blocks in 23.7 minutes over that stretch while shooting 62.7 percent from the floor. Stephon Castle checked out of Tuesday's rout early due to a pelvic contusion after a hard landing on a dunk attempt, playing only 12 minutes, and if he's forced to sit out Wednesday's contest against the Warriors, Harper will have a lot of DFS appeal.
