Top Nikola Jokic News

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Delivers monster triple-double

Jokic finished with 23 points (9-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 17 rebounds and 17 assists in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 125-123 win over the Suns.

Jokic was clearly ready to play Tuesday night, as he collected seven points, eight rebounds and eight assists in the first quarter and fell just short of a triple-double in the first half alone. He easily picked up his seventh triple-double of March with a strong second half, pacing the Nuggets in points, rebounds and assists. Jokic also tied his best mark of the season in dimes, a mark he reached one other time this year Feb. 7 against Chicago.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-doubles with three stocks

Jokic finished with 22 points (10-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt), 14 rebounds, 14 assists, one block and two steals over 35 minutes during Sunday's 128-112 win over the Trail Blazers.

Jokic added another five turnovers in the win, but head coach David Adelman explained during a recent interview that the turnovers are to be expected given Jokic's hefty usage rate (29.2). "He's going to turn it over because of his usage rate," Adelman said. "But the other guys, too, have to take it on themselves and get the ball up the floor, get us organized as well. And it's not going to be perfect. There's not always going to be Jamal Murray on the floor. Sometimes they take him away too. So it's a team issue." Jokic also recorded a game-high mark in rebounds and a game-high-tying 14 assists Sunday, marking his 28th triple-double across 56 regular-season appearances thus far.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Comes close to triple-double

Jokic registered 29 points (11-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), 14 rebounds, nine assists, three blocks and one steal over 39 minutes during Wednesday's 125-118 loss to the Grizzlies.

Jokic ended just one assist away from a triple-double, but his standard of performance is so high that the big man has found a way to be consistently better than this kind of output. He's averaging a triple-double this month, with 26.3 points, 12.8 rebounds and 10.7 assists per game in 10 March appearances. He also has five triple-doubles this month alone, so even in games where he's not as dominant as usual, he still posts elite numbers across the board.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Dishes 14 dimes in quiet night

Jokic finished Tuesday's 124-96 victory over Philadelphia with eight points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds and 14 assists in 25 minutes.

The perennial MVP candidate didn't play at all in the fourth quarter of the rout, but he still racked up 12 or more assists for a fifth straight game despite seeing his four-game triple-double streak come to an end. Jokic also failed to reach double-digit scoring for the first time since the 2023-24 season. Despite the disappointing numbers, Jokic is still averaging 26.0 points, 12.7 boards, 10.9 assists, 1.9 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.0 threes through nine games in March while shooting 58.5 percent from the floor.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Records another triple-double

Jokic racked up 24 points (10-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds, 14 assists, one block and five steals in 43 minutes during Saturday's 127-125 overtime loss to the Lakers.

Jokic extended his triple-double streak to four games after another loaded line, but his impressive efforts weren't enough to lift the Nuggets to victory in a tough road matchup. Jokic has six triple-doubles and five double-doubles across 13 games since the All-Star break, and he remains the league's most dominant all-around contributor in fantasy. He's up to 27 triple-doubles on the year, leading the league in that category by a wide margin.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Powers way to triple-double

Jokic contributed 31 points (9-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 11-11 FT), 20 rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and three steals across 39 minutes during Thursday's 136-131 victory over the Spurs.

The triple-double train continues on for Jokic, who has now recorded three straight. His strong effort across the board Thursday was just enough to help Denver squeak out a win against a San Antonio club that was without Victor Wembanyama (ankle). Jokic will aim to continue his stellar play Saturday against the Lakers, who he recorded a triple-double against March 5.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Tallies another triple-double

Jokic closed Wednesday's 129-93 victory over the Rockets with 16 points (6-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 12 rebounds, 13 assists, one block and five steals in 30 minutes.

That's now 25 triple-doubles in just 50 games on the year for the superstar big man. Jokic has recorded three triple-doubles in his past four outings, during which he has averaged a robust 28.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 11.0 assists and 2.0 steals in 34.8 minutes per game while shooting 62.7 percent from the floor.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-double in narrow loss

Jokic finished with 32 points (12-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 14 rebounds, 13 assists and one block over 40 minutes in Monday's 129-126 loss to the Thunder.

Jokic racked up his ninth 30-point triple-double of the campaign, but it wasn't enough as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander knocked down a game-winning three-pointer to hand the Nuggets their second straight loss. The superstar big man is now up to 24 triple-doubles this season, far and away the highest mark in the NBA. Monday also marked an improvement from beyond the arc, as Jokic entered the contest having shot just 18.2 percent from deep with four made threes over his previous five games.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Pours in game-high 38 in loss

Jokic closed Friday's 142-103 loss to New York with 38 points (14-21 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 9-10 FT), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals in 31 minutes.

The perennial MVP candidate led all scorers on the night, but Jokic didn't get a lot of help, especially after Jamal Murray (ankle) headed to the locker room after playing just 18 minutes and didn't return. Jokic has scored more than 20 points in 14 straight games, averaging 27.8 points, 13.7 boards, 9.3 assists, 1.4 threes, 1.2 steals and 0.9 blocks over that stretch.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Logs triple-double with ease

Jokic totaled 28 points (10-15 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 12 rebounds, 13 assists, one steal and one block in 38 minutes during Thursday's 120-113 victory over the Lakers.

Jokic nearly committed double-digit turnovers, but he shot the ball with efficiency, which was evident by a perfect 8-for-8 night at the charity stripe. He also led the Nuggets in rebounds and assists. Jokic is averaging 27.6 points, 13.2 rebounds, 9.4 assists and 1.0 blocks over his last five matchups.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Low shot volume in narrow win

Jokic accumulated 22 points (6-11 FG, 10-11 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and two blocks in 36 minutes during Monday's 128-125 win over Utah.

Jokic's double-double lacked its usual pop, but 11 appearances at the charity stripe and a high rebound total helped to buoy his bottom line. He ceded most of the heavy lifting to Jamal Murray, who kept making shots to keep ahead of the shorthanded Jazz. The Nuggets take on the Lakers next, and it will be Jokic's first appearance against them after an injury sidelined him in their only other meeting this season.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Sniffs triple-double in defeat

Jokic chipped in 35 points (15-26 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 13 rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and one steal in 37 minutes during Sunday's 117-108 loss to Minnesota.

Jokic once again led the Nuggets in points, rebounds and assists, though it wasn't enough to power his team to victory. While the superstar big man was efficient from the field and posted elite numbers, turnovers were a problem yet again. He gave the ball away a game-high five times and has committed at least three turnovers in three of his last four outings. He also struggled from three-point range, where he has shot just 25.9 percent over the last three games. Regardless, Jokic has racked up three double-doubles and two triple-doubles over six outings since the All-Star break.

  • Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Triple-doubles in OKC

Jokic provided 23 points (9-25 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 3-5 FT), 17 rebounds, 14 assists and one steal in 45 minutes during Friday's 127-121 overtime loss to the Thunder.

The triple-double was his 22nd of the season -- Atlanta's Jalen Johnson is second in the league with 11 -- but it wasn't quite enough to steal a road win in OKC. Jokic wraps up February having averaged 25.6 points, 14.0 boards, 9.6 assists, 1.7 threes, 1.3 steals and 0.7 blocks over 11 games.
