Cunningham was part of the training camp roster for the Pistons but was let go by Detroit prior to the season and has now been waived by the team's G League affiliate as well. He should be available for other teams to add in the future.

Cunningham was added to the Pistons' training camp roster Wednesday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
The 30-year-old has not played in the NBA since 2016, but he'll have another chance -- albeit an outside one -- to earn a roster spot with a strong showing in camp. In 84 career NBA games, Cunningham has averaged just 2.3 points, 0.7 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 7.2 minutes of action.

Cunningham has spent all season in the G League with Golden State's affiliate, appearing in 13 games (12 starts) and posting averages of 10.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 25.4 minutes per game.

Cunningham was the leading scorer for the Warriors on Sunday by totaling 24 points along 46.2 percent overall shooting while also dishing out a solid five assists in the win. Cunningham is averaging 20.5 points and 3.0 assists so far through two G League games.

Jared Cunningham: Signs with Chinese team
Cunningham signed a contract Tuesday with the Jiangsu Tongxi Monkey Kings of the Chinese Basketball Association, Sportando reports.
Cunningham, a first-round draft pick in 2012, appeared in 44 games last season with the Cavaliers and Bucks, with whom he averaged 2.7 points and 0.9 rebounds in 9.3 minutes per game. The 25-year-old was let go by the Bucks in late March when his 10-day contract expired, and was unable to attract interest from NBA teams once he became a free agent. By heading to China, Cunningham will have an opportunity to showcase himself in a more focal offensive role before potentially returning to the NBA late in 2016-17 when the CBA season ends next spring.

Jared Cunningham: Won't be re-signed
Cunningham won't receive a second 10-day contract from the Bucks, according to freelance reporter Andrew Gruman.
Cunningham made four appearances with the Bucks and mostly failed to distinguish himself, as he shot 28.6 percent from the field while averaging four points and 2.3 rebounds over 13.8 minutes. Most of Cunningham's sparse minutes should go to Rashad Vaughn, who was recalled from the D-League's Canton Charge prior to Saturday's game against the Hornets. Cunningham figures to return to the D-League now that he's a free agent.
