WATCH: John Wall hits Kristaps Porzingis with a dagger step-back
Wizards star gets separating and nails the J to help defeat the Knicks' comeback effort Tuesday.
In a season marred by defensive inconsistencies, injuries, and and disappointing losses, John Wall has been flat-out electric for the Washington Wizards. He's put in terrific efforts every night, and led his team without creating drama in front of cameras or behind the scenes.
On Tuesday night, with the Knicks staging a comeback, Wall took over down the stretch. He finished with 28 points, 17 assists, five rebounds, and only one turnover. In the fourth quarter alone, he had 15 points and four assists in the fourth quarter alone, and late in the game, hit Kristaps Porzingis with the step-back jumper that was straight cold.
Wall's ability to manipulate space is really underrated and ti's one of the reasons he's so talented. The Wizards are 2.5 back of the 8th seed after their win Tuesday.
