The Cleveland Cavaliers set an NBA record for most made 3-pointers in a game, playoffs or regular season, with 25 in Game 2 against the Hawks. Cleveland set the record with 22 made 3-pointers with more than five minutes left in the third quarter in what was, quite honestly, an absurd shooting performance.

A quick glance at Cleveland's 3-point shooting:

LeBron James: 4-for-6

Kevin Love: 3-for-4

J.R. Smith: 7-for-13

Kyrie Irving 4-for-5

Iman Shumpert: 1-for-1

Richard Jefferson (?!): 2-for-3

Matthew Dellavedova: 1-for-3

Channing Frye: 1-for-3

The previous record was 21, set by Golden State in its Game 4 beating of the Houston Rockets this year.

For the Cavs, this record took a special combination of tremendous shooting, brilliant ball movement orchestrated by James, a loose trigger finger with Smith firing up all kinds of shots (and hitting them) and a Hawks defense that continues to try and clog the paint and give up open 3s in an excessive exercise in futility.

The Cavs are locked in and seem primed to roll to at least another Eastern Conference finals appearance.
