The 76ers are reportedly set to claim guard Glenn Robinson off waivers, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The team later confirmed the report.
Robinson, who is averaging 1.2 points and 0.6 rebounds in 25 games this season, was waived by the Timberwolves Thursday.
"[I'm] excited to have him," said coach Brett Brown. "We liked him and paid attention to him a lot in the draft. Part of the plan is identifying young people who can be keepers. He ticks a lot boxes, to it kind of being a no brainer on why we would be interested in him."
