Houston Rockets rookie Sam Dekker left Wisconsin as a junior to make his way to the NBA, and it clearly worked out as he was taken as a late first-round pick. In doing so, of course, he left before he could graduate. Dekker may well do as many players do and return to get his diploma, but for right now, he came up short.

Dekker plays basketball at the highest level, makes millions of dollars and will go down as one of the best players in Wisconsin school history.
