After a slow start to the season that included him missing the first five games, Cade Cunningham has shown exactly why he was the No. 1 overall draft pick. The former Oklahoma State star has averaged 20 points, 7.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.3 steals over his last three games. Now, he'll get to face a reeling Lakers team that boasts several former top picks including LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Dwight Howard. Despite the big names and lengthy resumes, these Lakers have struggled, thus giving Cunningham a great chance to continue his NBA DFS success.

Top NBA DFS picks for Sunday, November 21
One of McClure's top NBA DFS picks for Sunday is Bulls guard Zach LaVine at $8,700 on DraftKings and $7,900 on FanDuel. LaVine dropped a season-high of 36 points in Friday's win over Denver while also adding five rebounds and four assists. He also connected on 58.3 percent of his field-goal attempts. That efficiency has been the difference for LaVine this year as he's flirting with joining the 50-40-90 club.
The 26-year-old is shooting 49.8 percent from the field, 40.3 percent from beyond the arc and is knocking down 88.2 percent of his free throw attempts. He's also cut back his turnovers to 2.9 per game after topping 3.4 each of the last three seasons. All of that has allowed LaVine to post a career-high player efficiency rating (PER) of 22.5. His efficiency should be on full display versus a Knicks team that is struggling defensively as New York ranks 17th in points allowed after leading the league in the stat last season.
Another part of McClure's optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Suns guard Chris Paul at $8,300 on DraftKings and $8,900 on FanDuel. Paul continues to amaze in his 17th season and leads the NBA in both assists per game (10.7) and steals per game (2.5).
Paul is coming off an 18-point, 14-assist, five-rebound performance vs. the Mavericks on Friday. He has been the catalyst for the Suns' current 11-game winning streak as he's had double-digit points in nine of those wins while posting at least 10 assists in seven of them. The veteran should exploit a Nuggets team on Sunday that allowed Tyrese Maxey of the Sixers to post a 22-5-4 stat line on Thursday and is still missing both Jamal Murray (knee) and Michael Porter Jr. (back).
