But he's since showed why he was the No. 1 overall pick as Cunningham has averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists over his last two games.
On Wednesday Cunningham will face off against the Rockets and No. 2 overall pick Jalen Green. Many felt that Green should have went first overall, so expect Cunningham to be highly motivated to prove his merit as the top overall draft pick. Houston ranks 25th in points allowed per game so don't be surprised if Cunningham sets a new career-high in points in his young career.
