The Palm Beach Post reports that LeBron James is donating $1 million to his former high school, St. Vincent-St. Mary High in Akron, Ohio, for a new gym. It will be renamed The LeBron James Arena.

First off, the fact that high school gyms are now called arenas kind of shows where we're at in society. Second, is it "The LeBron James Arena" or "LeBron James Arena?" Because "Hey, are you going to the game at The LeBron James Arena tonight" sounds weird.

Third, they really should nickname it something, right? Maybe the Kingdome? Or the Witness Stand? (That was our preditor, Sergio Gonzalez, with that one. I'm not going down for that one.)

The high school was featured in the documentary More Than a Game, released in 2009.
