Through 3 Quarters
Down nine at the end of last quarter, the Los Angeles Lakers have now snagged the lead. After three quarters it's looking more and more like their high-powered offense is just too much for the Sacramento Kings as the Lakers lead 87-74.
Los Angeles has been riding high on the performance of power forward Anthony Davis, who has 23 points in addition to seven boards. One thing to keep an eye out for is Talen Horton-Tucker's foul situation as he currently sits at four.
Sacramento has been led by center Richaun Holmes, who so far has 20 points along with seven rebounds.
If the contest were over now, this would be Los Angeles' biggest margin of victory yet this year.

What to Know
The Los Angeles Lakers have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. Los Angeles and the Sacramento Kings will face off in a Pacific Division battle at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Golden 1 Center. If the game is anything like Sacramento's 141-137 win from their previous meeting in November, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.
The Lakers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, sneaking past 110-106. Los Angeles' small forward LeBron James did his thing and had 33 points and nine assists in addition to five boards. LBJ's night made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 30 points.
Meanwhile, things couldn't have gone much worse for Sacramento as they lost 128-101 to the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday. Sacramento was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 76-52. The top scorers for the Kings were shooting guard Buddy Hield (14 points), small forward Terence Davis (13 points), Louis King (12 points), and point guard De'Aaron Fox (12 points).
Barring any buzzer beaters, the Lakers are expected to win a tight contest. But bettors beware: they are only 3-10 against the spread when favored.
Los Angeles' victory brought them up to 11-11 while Sacramento's defeat pulled them down to 8-13. A couple defensive stats to keep an eye on: Los Angeles is third worst in the league in points allowed per game, with 114.1 on average. Sacramento has experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the contest with the fourth most points allowed per game in the league, having given up 113.1 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
