With 3:20 left in the first half of Wednesday's Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard and Golden State Warriors center Andrew Bogut picked up a double-technical foul. As the ball was about to be inbounded, Howard clapped his hands near Bogut, and then he put his hands on his chest. Bogut pushed them away, and the two were issued the double-tech. Compared to some of the physical stuff that happens under the basket -- especially with these guys -- it was nothing. But it might have big consequences.
For Howard, it was his seventh technical foul of the playoffs. Had the Rockets extended the series to Game 6, he would have suspended for it, assuming the NBA chose not to rescind it.
