The 2021 Verizon 200 will take place at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, but those who tune in won't see the type of racing they've come to expect from The Brickyard. That's because this year, the NASCAR Cup Series moved its race from the 2.5-mile rectangular oval to the 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course. That means your NASCAR DFS lineups should be stocked with drivers who have proven they can handle road racing and, while that list is growing with a schedule that includes more road races than years past, it can still be a tough task.

Chase Elliott has become the top road racer in NASCAR with seven wins in the last four years, which could make him a top option in the NASCAR DFS driver pool. However, he's also the most expensive driver on FanDuel and DraftKings, so you'll also need affordable 2021 Verizon 200 DFS picks. Before making any NASCAR DFS picks for the 2021 Verizon 200, be sure to check out the optimal NASCAR at The Brickyard DFS strategy and advice from SportsLine's Mike McClure

McClure has won almost $2 million in his career as a daily Fantasy pro, and his NASCAR DFS driver pool, projections and advice can help you score a big win on Sunday.

McClure had Chase Elliott listed as his top NASCAR DFS picks last month, and Elliott went on to earn the win at Road America. Then his model nailed the top five last week in a road race at Watkins Glen. His model, which simulates every race 10,000 times, has called four outright winners this year. Anybody who has followed his picks has seen some huge returns.

Now, he's turned his attention to Sunday's 2021 Verizon 200. He's only sharing his picks and NASCAR DFS driver pool here.

Top 2021 Verizon 200 NASCAR DFS picks

For NASCAR at The Brickyard 2021, McClure is high on Kevin Harvick ($8,000 on DraftKings, $9,500 on FanDuel). The 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion has collected 58 wins in his 21-year Cup career, but he is winless this season. However, Harvick is ninth in the NASCAR standings and only one winless driver clear of being on the bubble for the NASCAR playoffs.

While Harvick hasn't been a dominant road racer, he's proven himself capable. He's won twice on road courses and has 24 top-10 finishes in 47 career Cup starts in road races. Harvick is coming off an eighth-place run at Watkins Glen last week and also finished sixth at the Daytona road course, so he's a solid value pick for Sunday's action.

Part of McClure's optimal NASCAR DFS strategy also includes rostering Chase Elliott ($11,000 on DraftKings, $14,000 on FanDuel). The 25-year-old is the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion and he's established himself over the last four years as the best road racer in stock car racing.

Elliott has captured seven of his 13 career wins on road courses and that includes a pair of wins this season at Circuit of the Americas in Austin and Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Both races were the first in Cup history held at those respective tracks, so he shouldn't be nervous at all to take on yet another new road challenge at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend.

How to set 2021 NASCAR at The Brickyard DFS lineups

McClure is also targeting an undervalued driver set to return plenty of value. He's in a prime position to make a run at the checkered flag and comes at a price that won't break the bank. This pick could be the difference between cashing huge in your NASCAR DFS tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can see every pick here.
