Marlins' Kemp Alderman: Healthy again at Single-A
Alderman (hand) has gone 2-for-13 with two RBI and a run scored in four games since returning from Single-A Jupiter's 7-day injured list Thursday.
Alderman had been on Jupiter's IL all season with a fractured left hand, but he was cleared to join the club last week after completing a five-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. The 21-year-old outfielder slashed .205/.286/.316 with a home run and four stolen bases over 133 plate appearances for Jupiter in his first professional season in 2023.

Marlins' Kemp Alderman: Out with broken hand
Alderman is on the 7-day injured list with Single-A Jupiter due to a broken hamate bone in his left hand and should return to action in May, Jim Callis of MLB.com reports.
The bat-first outfielder slashed just .205/.286/.316 with 39 strikeouts and seven walks in 34 games at Single-A after the Marlins selected him with the No. 47 overall pick last year, so this will be an important year for Kemp to get on track. He turns 22 in August and is limited to corner-outfield and designated-hitter work, meaning Alderman needs to show significant offensive potential in order to profile as a future big leaguer.
