Heading into Friday, there had been 12 home runs that were measured to have an estimated distance of at least 461 feet this season. Let's add another to the list, as Cubs outfielder Jorge Soler got into this one (PHI-CHC).

Statcast pegged the blast at 461 feet, tying Gregory Polanco for 12th this season. Also, the ball hit the left-field video board (which is in its second year of existence), making Soler the second player to do so after Kris Bryant (who did it twice last season).

Soler got off to a miserable start to the season, but he's heating up. Before Friday, he was hitting .318/.444/.682 with two doubles and two homers in his last eight games. He had an RBI single in his first at-bat Friday before the home run.
