The Baltimore Orioles took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five ALDS against the Detroit Tigers Friday in Baltimore when they came back to win, 7-6. The go-ahead hit? A three-run, pinch-hit double off the bat of Delmon Young.

Here it is:

Note the celebrations of Steve Pearce and Nelson Cruz as J.J. Hardy completes his excellent hook slide, just barely getting his hand on home plate before Alex Avila's tag. That's how it's done.

On Young, he's putting together a fine career postseason dossier. He's still only 29 years old, but this is his sixth different postseason. His slash line is good, but not outstanding, at .271/.318/.551. It's the damage he's doing when he does get hits. In 118 at-bats, he has four doubles, a triple, nine homers and 21 RBI.

Also, during the regular season this year, Young was 10-for-20 with five RBI as a pinch hitter. That's quite a weapon off the bench for Buck Showalter.
