Ryan Madson recently scouted by Red Sox

The Red Sox are among the teams that have recently scouted free-agent pitcher Ryan Madson , FOX Sports reports.

Madson has missed two complete seasons after undergoing Tommy John surgery and dealing with multiple setbacks. In his last action on the mound, Madson went 4-2 with a 2.37 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 62:16 K:BB ratio and 32 saves in 60 2/3 innings with the Phillies in 2011.
