Phillies SP prospect Jesse Biddle (elbow) going for second opinion

Phillies starting pitcher prospect Jesse Biddle is seeking a second opinion on his sore elbow after being examined by team doctor Michael Ciccotti, CSN Philadelphia reports.

Interim GM Scott Proefrock would not say what the results were of the exam with Ciccotti. He only would say "there's some concern" about Biddle's elbow. Biddle was placed on the disabled list at Triple-A Lehigh Valley at the end of August with what was called a left shoulder strain at the time.
