Phillies' John Hester out six weeks after knee surgery

Phillies catcher John Hester suffered a complex tear of the medial meiniscus in his left knee. The injury required surgery, and he'll be out six weeks, according to Meghan Montemurro of the News Journal.

The 30-year-old Hester last played in the Major Leagues with the Angels in 2013.
