LOOK: Red Wings goalie to wear helmet honoring Tigers legends

When the Red Wings and Avalanche play at Coors Field in late February, Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard will wear a helmet honoring some Tigers baseball luminaries.

On Feb. 27, the Detroit Red Wings and Colorado Avalanche will play a rousing match of hockeyball at Coors Field, which, in warmer times, plays host to Rockies games. There's a baseball hook, you see.
