Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ took a loss Tuesday after allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and one walk in six innings and striking out one in his team's 6-3 defeat against the Mariners.

Happ (8-7) had his worst start of the second half Tuesday, giving up runs in each of his last four innings after tossing two scoreless frames to open the game. He surrendered two home runs in the loss as well. Happ owns a 4.20 ERA and 90:40 K:BB ratio in 109 1/3 innings. He's scheduled to face the Brewers next Tuesday.
