Winning, team success and impact were the most important attributes for players to be named to the MaxPreps high school football All-American squad.
And for the first time in MaxPreps history there was a co-Player of the Year.
Mater Dei's Bryce Young and St. John Bosco's DJ Uiagalelei both were chosen for their amazing senior seasons playing against the best competition in high school football. They combined for nearly 10,000 total yards of offense and 124 touchdowns in 2019 and the only losses by either were against the other. ...
