After a year of frustrating injuries, Rory McIlroy insinuated this week that he's ready for the 2017 U.S. Open at Erin Hills. McIlroy has laid low since The Players Championship where he reinjured his rib/back, which led to him pulling out of the BMW PGA Championship in England.
McIlroy has been hanging in Portugal at the Quinta Do Lago Resort -- perks of the job! -- and posted this video of himself swinging on Instagram.
He said he's been making good progress and is excited for the U.S. Open, which will be just his second event worldwide since the Masters. McIlroy's finishes at the U.S. Open in his career look like this.
