Tom Watson speaks out (finally) on Phil Mickelson's Ryder Cup comments
Tom Watson let everyone else break down his feud with Phil Mickelson at the Ryder Cup for a long time. He finally spoke up recently.

No, you just thought the Tom Watson-Phil Mickelson feud had been put to death. But no, Watson made comments to Scotland's The Herald while at St. Andrews this week about the Mickelson incident from the 2014 Ryder Cup.
"The criticism hurt to a certain degree, the way it played out at the end with Phil making the comments that probably should have been made in a private room," said Watson.
"It was disappointing, but we got beat by the better team. Our team played its heart out, and, after getting off to a great start on the Sunday, if they had continued along that path we could have been right there at the end."
I believe this is the first time he's spoken publicly about Mickelson, although I might have missed something else. It seems like there's been fallout to the fallout to the fallout.
I dearly hope the R&A pairs Mickelson and Watson together for Watson's last Open in July.
Also, I basically just wrote this post as an excuse to re-watch this video (I do love smug Lefty).
