The Masters: Russell Henley talks about his first time
Russell Henley talks about what he's most looking forward to, his favorite hole, and what major he wants to win.

Your first time is always special. I'm talking to various golfers over the next week about what they're most excited about regarding their first trip to Augusta.
Today is Russell Henley.
Henley qualified for the Masters by winning the Sony Open in January. I wrote that his start to the 2013 season was downright historic.
He's since cooled off a bit (only one top-20 in his last seven stroke-play events) but he'll be playing in his first Masters ever this year.
He recently took a little bit of time to talk to me about it via email.
Kyle Porter: What are you most looking forward to about the Masters?
Russell Henley: Being part of such a great atmosphere and seeing all of the people out there and interacting with them.
Porter: From watching (and/or playing) what hole is your favorite?
Henley: 14
Porter: What was your first Masters memory growing up?
Henley: Watching Tiger Woods win his first Masters in 1997
Porter: Finish this sentence: I can win the Masters if _______________.
Henley: I have fun.
Porter: What was your "welcome to the PGA Tour" moment?
Henley: When I was interviewed on the 18th green after I had just holed out and won at the Sony Open.
Porter: One major this year, which one do you want to win?
Henley: The Masters, but honestly I would be thrilled to win any of them.
He pointed at the scoreboard a little bit on that "welcome to the PGA Tour" moment question, and he deserved to after his incredible 63-63-67-63 performance in Hawaii.
I like the way Henley's been playing this year and like his attitude heading to Augusta.
This Georgia kid should be walking the grounds come Saturday and Sunday.
