Tiger Woods took his 17th World Golf Championship on Sunday in less-than-dramatic fashion. He closed with a ho-hum 71, two shots clear of putting coach Steve Stricker. Here are our grades from Doral.

| Tiger Woods | He's made $103 million in PGA Tour events alone. That's all I've got for you. Just think about it for a while. | |
| Small fields | Someone else noted this first, but the constrictions put on the World Golf Championship fields are fantastic. It makes for star-studded leaderboards instead of no-name winners. I'm all for a Cinderella story, but it's tough to beat a Tiger Woods-Steve Stricker-Sergio Garcia-Phil Mickelson-Adam Scott-Graeme McDowell top-six finish. | |
| Phil Mickelson interviews | He's the Mickelson Badger, he's the Les Miles of golf, he's everything we want him to be and much more. From the cart path description to the "body wiggle" talk, there's never a dull moment with Lefty. | |
| Rory McIlroy | A strong 65 bumped him into the top 10 by the end of the week. And more important, he said he "found something." | |
| Florida swing | A good tournament last week at the Honda Classic and a great tournament this week at Doral, but next week at Tampa Bay is a bit weak before we finish strong with the Arnold Palmer Invitational. So far I like Florida, but I prefer the West Coast swing. | |
| Steve Stricker | I have absolutely no problem with it, but I would imagine the rest of the Tour isn't exactly thrilled about him helping Tiger figure out his putting earlier this week. | |
| Luke Donald on No. 18 | Donald double-bogeyed No. 18 at the Blue Monster each of his four rounds. He doesn't get an "F" because he had a good sense of humor about it, tweeting to Donald Trump that he should re-purpose that hole while he's busy tearing up the course next week. |
