The 18th hole at TPC River Highland saw some pretty sweet moments on Sunday at the Travelers Championship. First, Jim Furyk touched off the first 58 in PGA Tour history before Russell Knox got his second PGA Tour win about in pretty dramatic fashion.

Knox came to the final hole needing a par for the win. He was trying to hold off young studs like Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas and Daniel Berger and had just made bogey at No. 16. He was leaking oil a little bit coming home before pushing his drive, hitting his second shot in the sand and leaving his third 12 feet short.

Then he buried a 12-foot putt and threw his hat about 50 yards in celebration. "I said to my caddie, 'it's never easy,'" Knox told CBS' Dottie Pepper after the win. "That putt, I'll remember it forever."

What you might remember forever is what Knox did at The Players Championship earlier this year. The Scotsman hit three balls into the water on the Island Green in one round before laughing it off and recovering nicely as the weekend wore on. He gained a lot of fans that weekend who cheered heartily as he snatched his second win in the last 10 months in Connecticut.

He also now has some Ryder Cup momentum. The win at a WGC event in China didn't count for Ryder Cup points last November so he will likely need a captain's pick, but Knox will now move into the top 20 in the world, which will be tough to pass up here in about a month when the teams are picked.

Either way Knox has had a great season. He joins Jason Day, Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott and Dustin Johnson as the only multiple-time winners. Grade: A+

Here are the rest of our grades for the Travelers Championship.

Justin Thomas: Thomas went out and shot 62 on Sunday and got housed by four strokes for low round of the day by Furyk. Still the T3 finish will score him some much-needed Ryder Cup points as the PGA Tour turns for the home stretch in the next few weeks.

"It was a good week," said Thomas. "I'm trending in the right direction which is what I wanted to do going into the [FedEx Cup] Playoffs. I've been playing well and putting well for a long time now, just haven't really gotten anything out of it. I've gotten on some bad draws in the majors, and there's nothing you can do about that. Over the course of the career or over the course of the year even it usually equals out, and I've been telling myself to stay positive, stay patient, and I feel like that kind of showed today." Grade: A

Bubba Watson: Watson unloaded his entire bag after sinking his final putt in his last performance before the Olympics next week. He has not had a consistently great season thus far (by his standards), but a T25 with two 68s on the weekend might be a spark for Rio. One he desperately wants.

"Any time you get the chants of 'USA,' we're so lucky to live in the United States, so blessed to live in the United States. I think at some point, Rickie is so family-oriented, and the same with myself, we'll probably shed a tear or two just saying that we're Olympians. What an honor and a privilege to represent the United States, the country that we love very much, and somehow we're athletes now." Grade: B

Patrick Reed: I loved seeing Reed rock his U.S. Olympic bag a week early at this tournament.

He gets massive points just for that. Throw in the T11 and we're bumping him up even more. Grade: A

Jim Furyk: Furyk started Sunday 16 shots back of leader Daniel Berger. He was 1 over and teed off at 8:41 a.m. Berger was 15 under and teed off at 2 p.m. They tied for fifth at 11 under. Golf, baby. Furyk's 58 was a thrill too and in the most unlikely spot of the tournament: On a Sunday morning with nothing else going on.

"You don't wake up on Sunday morning with an 8:41 tee time thinking that anything exciting is going to happen," said Furyk. "I mean, really on those days the most exciting thing that can happen is the group in front of you plays quick and your flight takes off a little early and getting home is usually what you're looking to do. To get out there and make a bunch of birdies and get the juices flowing and feel like I was in the hunt in a golf tournament was kind of cool." Grade: A+
