Two races will come to a finish this week at Boilingbrook Golf Club as LIV Golf wraps up its regular season. Teams will jockey for postseason positioning while Jon Rahm and Joaquin Niemann duke it out for the individual crown. While Niemann was the talk of the town earlier in the year, Rahm has roared back with vengeance as of late.
Collecting a top-10 finish in each and every start of his LIV Golf career, Rahm has done even better as of late with his first victory at LIV Golf UK and a playoff defeat to Brooks Koepka at LIV Golf Greenbrier. Rahm's run has not only allowed him to contend in the individual aspect of league play, but it has also propelled his Legion XIII squad into second place in the season-long race.
Just 0.50 points behind Bryson DeChambeau's Crushers, Legion XIII looks to usurp the defending championships and head into the playoffs as the No. 1 overall seed. Cameron Smith's Ripper GC has experienced a strong season itself with a pair of victories as have Koepka's Smash GC.
These four teams hope to solidify their byes in the first round of the playoffs while Niemann's Torque GC and Sergio Garcia's Fireballs may have something to say. Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces may no longer be the dynasty many thought while Phil Mickelson's HyFlyers and Ian Poulter's Majestick aim to garner any type of momentum before the team championship in Dallas.
