Phil Mickelson goes for his sixth win at Pebble Beach when the 2020 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tees off on Thursday from the Monterey Peninsula. The 49-year-old lefty, who has not won since last year's tournament at Pebble Beach, built momentum for this week with a third-place finish in Saudi Arabia, one place behind Dustin Johnson. In the first three rounds, each player will play Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. The final round takes place Sunday at Pebble.
Bookmakers list Johnson as the 13-2 favorite in the latest 2020 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds, followed by Patrick Cantlay (10-1), Paul Casey (18-1), Jason Day (22-1), Matt Kuchar (22-1), Brandt Snedeker (25-1), Mickelson (30-1) and Matthew Fitzpatrick (30-1). 2020 Pebble Beach Pro-Am prop bets
Now Gehman, co-host of "The First Cut" podcast on CBS Sports, has analyzed all the available 2020 Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds and revealed his picks to win, best prop bets and head-to-head picks. He's sharing them here.
Gehman believes Lanto Griffin has a strong chance to finish in the top 10, a prop that pays 15-2. "Griffin is coming off literally the worst tournament of his young career last week in Phoenix," Gehman told SportsLine. "Thanks to that finish, Griffin is on sale this week. I'm looking at the larger picture for Griffin, who is only two weeks removed from a seventh-place finish at the Sony Open. I'm willing to buy low on a guy with legitimate upside."
