Jozy Altidore appears to be off the US Gold Cup roster. The striker tweeted a good luck message to his teammates on Tuesday morning, a day after he didn't appear in a 1-1 draw with Haiti.

Coaches, as ridiculous as it seems, can make changes to their rosters after the group stage. It is uncertain if this is a decision based on an injury or because of his poor performances. He did not score a goal in the Gold Cup. The US will surely look for a forward to use off the bench, with Clint Dempsey, Gyasi Zardes and Aron Johannsson being the primary options available now.
Jurgen Klinsmann is set to name the roster for the knockout stages on Tuesday afternoon, with Alan Gordon and Juan Agudelo the likely candidates to take his spot on the 23-man roster.
The team will next play at 2 pm ET on Saturday in the quarterfinals, with the opponent yet to be determined.
