The race to be champion 3-year-old male rolls through Monmouth Park on Saturday for the 2024 Haskell Stakes. Top 2024 Haskell Stakes predictions
One surprise: Menez is almost completely fading Dornoch, even though he just won the Belmont Stakes. Trained by Danny Gargan, Dornoch has four wins and two seconds in eight career starts. In his last race, he pulled off a big upset, winning the Belmont Stakes at 17-1.
But prior to the Belmont win, he lost two straight starts by a combined 24½ lengths. "His Belmont Stakes victory was significantly better than any of his previous races, which makes me wonder if it was just a fluke," Menez told SportsLine.
