MLB: San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Two NL West foes will battle at 9:40 p.m. ET, as the Arizona Diamondbacks host the San Francisco Giants. The Giants are in third place in the division standings at 45-39, while the Diamondbacks are one spot behind in fourth at 41-42. Logan Webb (7-5, 2.52 ERA) gets the nod for San Francisco, while Arizona will counter with Ryne Nelson (4-2, 3.71 ERA). MLB: New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Max Scherzer made his Blue Jays debut back in March but then was sidelined for three months due to thumb inflammation on his pitching hand. Scherzer returned last Wednesday to face the Guardians, where he pitched five innings and allowed three runs.
