Bo Nix DEN QB
Broncos' Bo Nix: Ahead of schedule, per team owner
9h agoBroncos owner Greg Penner said Monday that Nix is "ahead of schedule" in his recovery from right ankle surgery, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Penner said in January that he had "zero concern" about Nix's recovery from a bone break in his right ankle, and the team owner echoed those comments Monday. "He's attacked his recovery in the same way that he attacks preparing for games and has just done a terrific job," Penner said of Nix. "He's ahead of schedule. No concerns at all for OTAs and go forward from there." Denver coach Sean Payton stated in February that he expects Broncos OTAs to start June 1, and Nix is trending toward being ready to participate by that date.

Cam Skattebo NYG RB
Giants' Cam Skattebo: Looking fully healthy
12h agoSkattebo attended Arizona State's Pro Day on Friday and appeared to have no lingering limitations from his right ankle surgery, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Giants GM Joe Schoen also was in attendance for Arizona State's Pro Day and described Skattebo as "jogging around, running, jumping on ex-teammates' backs and stuff like that." Schoen further commented that Skattebo is "declaring himself he's ready to go." Schoen said in January that Skattebo should be ready for the beginning of OTAs, and that appears to remain a genuine possibility.

Malik Nabers NYG WR
Giants' Malik Nabers: GM hopeful for Week 1 availability
12h agoGiants general manager Joe Schoen said Monday that he is "hopeful" Nabers (knee) will be ready to play by Week 1 of the upcoming campaign, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Nabers played in only four games last season, as he tore the ACL in his right knee Week 4 against the Chargers and ended the campaign on IR. Schoen said Monday that he is optimistic about the star wideout being ready to play from the get-go in the coming season, though the GM also expressed the need to be cautious. "Like I always say, we'll see," Schoen said. "As long as there's not a setback or whatever it may be, optimistic Week 1, he'll be ready. But again, you just never tell with these things and how they're going to react or if there's any setbacks. But he's in a good spot right now mentally and physically." Fantasy managers who have their sights set on Nabers will certainly look for further updates to emerge ahead of draft day.

Chandler Martin BAL LB
Eagles' Chandler Martin: Gets look from Philadelphia
12h agoThe Eagles signed Martin (knee) to a one-year contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
As an undrafted rookie last season, Martin played three regular-season games with Baltimore, with all 34 of his snaps coming on special teams. He tore his ACL in late November and ended the campaign on IR. It's unclear how far along Martin is in his recovery, and there's certainly a chance he won't be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign.
-
Graham Gano NYG K
Graham Gano: Cut with failed physical
13h agoThe Giants released Gano (neck) with a failed physical designation Monday, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Gano ended last season on IR due to a neck injury, and the issue appears to still be a concern. With his release. Gano's time with the Giants will come to an end after six seasons. He's been hampered by injuries over the past three campaigns, playing in only 23 of a possible 51 regular-season games during that span. Gano is approaching his 39th birthday, and it's unclear what his next step will be.

Travis Hunter JAC WR
Jaguars' Travis Hunter: 'Ahead' of schedule in recovery
13h agoCoach Liam Coen said Monday at the NFL's Annual Meeting that Hunter (knee) is "very well ahead" of schedule in his recovery from surgery to address a torn LCL in his right knee, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports. Coen added that he "cannot say for certain" whether or not Hunter will take part in the offseason program in May and June.
Hunter sustained the injury during an Oct. 30 practice and spent the rest of his rookie campaign on injured reserve, undergoing the aforementioned procedure on Nov. 11. GM James Gladstone noted after the campaign that Hunter will remain a two-way player in 2026 but likely will focus more on cornerback instead of wide receiver. As a first-year pro, Hunter logged 67 percent of the team's snaps on offense versus just 36 percent on defense through Week 8, hauling in 28 of 45 targets for 298 yards and one touchdown to go with 15 tackles and three pass defenses in seven contests. The Jaguars boast more high-end WR talent (Brian Thomas, Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington) than at CB, so having Hunter focus more on defense in his second season likely will pay dividends on the team's operation as a whole. Having said that, when Hunter will be back on the practice field remains to be seen.

Carson Benge NYM RF
Mets' Carson Benge: Swipes second bag during win
5h agoBenge went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Monday's win against the Cardinals.
Benge continued his fast start to the season, collecting two hits and swiping his second stolen base of the year. The 23-year-old later came around to score in the fifth inning on an RBI single from Bo Bichette. The rookie has carried over his impressive spring, where he slashed .366/.435/.439, and is quickly establishing himself as a contributor early in his MLB career.
-
Gunnar Henderson BAL 3B
Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Accounts for both O's runs
5h agoHenderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI during Monday's 5-2 loss to the Rangers.
Henderson clubbed his first home run of the season in the opening inning, sending a Jack Leiter pitch out of the yard to tie the game at one. Later, he tacked on an RBI single, but it wouldn't be enough for the Orioles to get the win. Even with Monday's success, it's still been a tough opening week for the 24-year-old as he's just 3-for-16 (.188 batting average) with seven strikeouts.
-
Cal Raleigh SEA C
Mariners' Cal Raleigh: Delivers walk-off single
5h agoRaleigh went 1-for-2 with a walk-off RBI single in Monday's 2-1 win against the Yankees.
After striking out in his first at-bat as a pinch hitter, Raleigh came through in the clutch, ripping a one-out single down the line that got past a diving Ben Rice at first base and allowed the winning run to score. While it's far too early to draw big conclusions, the timely hit could help the 29-year-old catcher build momentum during an uneven start to the year after limited action in the World Baseball Classic following his monster 2025 campaign in which he eclipsed 60 homeruns and finished just shy of an AL MVP.
-
Chris Bassitt BAL SP
Orioles' Chris Bassitt: Struggles in debut
5h agoBassitt (0-1) took the loss Monday against the Rangers, allowing four runs on six hits and four walks while striking out three in 4.1 innings pitched.
All of the damage done against Bassitt came in the first two innings of his Orioles tenure. He allowed one run in the first inning on a fielder's choice, but the crushing inning was the second. Three hits, two walks and a sacrifice fly contributed to the Rangers plating three runs in the frame and jumping out to a 4-0 lead that the Orioles would not be able to recover from. The 37-year-old will look to find better success in his next outing, scheduled for Sunday against the Pirates.
-
Tyler Alexander TEX RP
Rangers' Tyler Alexander: Earns second save
5h agoAlexander earned the save in Monday's 5-2 win over the Orioles, tossing a clean ninth inning while striking out two.
Alexander has converted both of the chances he's had for saves early on in the season. Normal closer Robert Garcia had pitched two days in a row entering Monday, so the 31-year-old was called upon to record the last three outs in the ninth and was razor sharp, striking out two batters in a three up, three down ninth. Alexander probably isn't putting Garcia's role in any danger yet, but it is a situation worth monitoring moving forward should he continue to pitch well.
-
Luis Castillo SEA SP
Mariners' Luis Castillo: Dominates Yankees, reaches 1500 Ks
5h agoCastillo did not factor into the decision Monday against the Yankees, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out seven over six scoreless innings.
Castillo was in complete control, holding the Yankees hitless until the fourth inning and limiting them to just two hits overall. The right-hander generated 17 whiffs and leaned heavily on his primary arsenal, throwing 87 of his 95 pitches as either a fastball or slider. Castillo had hitters fooled all night, but his final strikeout was a milestone moment, as he got Aaron Judge to swing through an inside breaking ball for his 1,500th career strikeout before exiting after the sixth inning. The 33-year-old will look to replicate Monday's success in his next scheduled start against the Angels.

LeBron James LAL SF
Lakers' LeBron James: Drops triple-double on Wizards
9m agoJames posted 21 points (8-16 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 12 assists and one block across 33 minutes during Monday's 120-101 win over Washington.
With Luka Doncic (suspension) out, James dazzled with a dynamic triple-double and powered the team to a convincing victory. James' role on the offense has diminished with Doncic running the show, but he showed he can turn back the clock and take control. There won't often be room for triple-doubles from James with Doncic in the lineup, but chances are high that James will distinguish himself with similar lines in the playoffs.
-
Cooper Flagg DAL SF
Mavericks' Cooper Flagg: Scores 12 points on 19 shots
5h agoFlagg ended Monday's 124-94 loss to Minnesota with 12 points (5-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 31 minutes.
Flagg was coming off a 24-point performance in the win over the Trail Blazers on Friday, but he took a huge step back on offense with a subpar shooting effort. The rookie out of Duke failed to reach the 15-point mark for the first time since March 12, and that goes to show just how consistent he's been on offense for a struggling Dallas team. He remains one of the odds-on favorites for the Rookie of the Year award, although he's in a tight race with Kon Knueppel for those honors.
-
Brandon Williams DAL PG
Mavericks' Brandon Williams: Stuffs stat sheet in loss
5h agoWilliams accumulated 15 points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 28 minutes during Monday's 124-94 loss to the Timberwolves.
Williams has been a steady contributor off the bench for the Mavericks, and he's scored in double digits in all but one of his 17 appearances since the All-Star break. The bench role limits his upside a bit, but Williams has the ability to fill the stat sheet every time he steps on the hardwood, so he's a valuable option to target in most formats if he's available.
-
Daniel Gafford DAL C
Mavericks' Daniel Gafford: Nears double-double Monday
5h agoGafford ended with 21 points (9-11 FG, 3-8 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one block across 24 minutes during Monday's 124-94 loss to the Timberwolves.
Gafford was nearly perfect from the floor, but he would've had an even better scoring performance had he been more accurate from the charity stripe. Gafford looked impressive in his return from a two-game absence, and given that he's scored at least 20 points in three of his last four appearances, he should remain a reliable fantasy asset in the final two weeks of the regular season.
-
Donte DiVincenzo MIN SG
Timberwolves' Donte DiVincenzo: Fills stat sheet in win
5h agoDiVincenzo ended with 15 points (5-11 FG, 5-9 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 124-94 win over the Mavericks.
DiVincenzo has drained exactly five three-pointers in three games in a row, and the versatile guard continues to leave his mark on offense for Minnesota. DiVincenzo has drained multiple threes in six games in a row, although he's failed to hit double-digit scoring marks twice in that stretch. DiVincenzo's ability as a reliable three-point shooter is huge for the Timberwolves, and his ability to stretch the floor is quite an asset while playing alongside players who command a ton of attention from opposing defenses, such as Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.
-
Anthony Edwards MIN SG
Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Scores 17 points in return
5h agoEdwards amassed 17 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and four assists across 23 minutes during Monday's 124-94 win over Dallas.
Edwards didn't start Monday's game but checked in early in the first quarter, but since this was a blowout victory, he only played 23 minutes and posted a decent stat line. Edwards should recover his role as the Timberwolves' No. 1 option on offense as soon as Thursday when Minnesota takes on the Pistons in a tough matchup.
-
Cutter Gauthier ANA LW
Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Injured against Toronto
9h agoGauthier will not return to Monday's home contest against the Maple Leafs due to an upper-body injury, per Eric Stephens of The Athletic.
Stephens noted that Gauthier was cross-checked in the first period, which forced the winger out of the game. The 22-year-old notched his team-leading 38th goal of the season prior to exiting. That marker came on the power play at 9:46 of the first period. The Ducks' next game is Wednesday in San Jose, so fantasy managers will want to keep tabs on Gauthier's status in the coming days.
-
Cale Makar COL D
Avalanche's Cale Makar: Sustains upper-body injury Monday
9h agoMakar has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game versus Calgary due to an upper-body injury.
Makar's last shift came late in the second period, and he wasn't on the bench to start the third. The superstar blueliner racked up three helpers, including two on the power play, and a plus-1 rating in 17:15 of ice time prior to exiting the contest. Until the Avalanche provide more information on Makar's status going forward, the 27-year-old can be considered day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's home game against the Canucks.
-
Jansen Harkins ANA C
Ducks' Jansen Harkins: Remains out Monday
10h agoHarkins (upper body) will miss Monday's home game against the Maple Leafs, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.
Harkins returned to Anaheim during the team's recent three-game road trip after exiting Tuesday's contest in Vancouver. He'll miss his third consecutive game and will likely carry the questionable tag heading into Wednesday's road game in San Jose unless he can make progress in practice. Overall, the 28-year-old forward has eight points, 37 shots on net, 113 hits and 24 blocked shots across 44 outings this season.
-
Anthony Stolarz TOR G
Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Tending twine Monday
10h agoStolarz will patrol the road crease in Monday's game against the Ducks, per Ducks PA Announcer Phil Hulett.
Stolarz will look to extend his two-game win streak dating back to March 15. Overall, the 32-year-old netminder has a 9-9-3 record, a 3.27 GAA and an .894 save percentage across 23 appearances this season. He's trending in the right direction for fantasy purposes and is a solid spot start option in various leagues. He'll face off against an above-average Ducks offense, who currently rank 11th in the league with 3.25 goals per game.
-
Adin Hill LV G
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Set to face Vancouver
10h agoHill will patrol the home blue paint against the Canucks on Monday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Hill has dropped back-to-back games in overtime, and he has just one win in his last six outings. The 29-year-old has conceded 17 goals on 112 shots (.848 save percentage) while going 1-3-2 during that time. The Golden Knights should have plenty of motivation to put forth a strong effort Monday, as it will be their first game playing in front of new bench boss John Tortorella. The Canucks, for their part, have lost five games in a row.
-
Yan Kuznetsov CGY D
Flames' Yan Kuznetsov: Moves past injury
11h agoKuznetsov (upper body) will be a healthy scratch for Monday's game in Colorado, per Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Kuznetsov hasn't been in the lineup since March 14 versus the Islanders. Joel Hanley (upper body) will miss the rest of the 2025-26 campaign, so Kuznetsov is currently the Flames' seventh blueliner, but it remains to be seen when he'll get back into the lineup. Calgary's next game is Thursday in Vegas.
