Holtby is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.
With Holtby on the shelf, Anton Khudobin will get the starting nod for Saturday's home game versus the Flyers. Holtby's lower-body issue is considered minor, so he could be ready to return as soon as Tuesday against the Red Wings.
