Sharks' Ryan Dzingel: Snagged off waivers

Dzingel was picked up off the waiver wire by the Sharks from Toronto on Monday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Dzingel spent all of two days as a member of the Maple Leafs after being acquired by Toronto from Arizona via trade. Since leaving the Senators back in 2018-19, the 29-year-old center has struggled to produce with consistency and has made stops in Columbus, Carolina and Arizona. Dzingel will have a little over two months to audition with the Sharks before hitting free agency this offseason.
