Carlsson (undisclosed) was placed on the injured non-roster list Monday.
Carlsson was likely to spend most of 2024-25 with AHL San Jose, but he'll be on the Sharks' non-roster list until he's healthy. The 27-year-old defenseman last played in the NHL in 2022-23, making two appearances with the Panthers that year.
