Sharks' Givani Smith: Lands on waivers

Smith was placed on waivers Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Smith, who had been a healthy scratch in San Jose's last six games, figures to report to AHL San Jose should he clear waivers. The 26-year-old winger has no points in six games this season after logging one goal and four points in 36 games with the Sharks last year.
