Halliday was sent to AHL Belleville on Saturday.
Halliday had a pair of assists in his lone preseason game. The 22-year-old had 10 goals and 26 assists in 38 NCAA games with Ohio State, before inking an entry-level contract with the Senators in March. He is likely to spend the season at Belleville.
