Nyquist logged an assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings.

Linemates Ryan O'Reilly and Filip Forsberg have been good despite the Predators' rough start, but Nyquist hadn't gotten on the scoresheet in the first four games. The veteran winger has posted seven shots on net, three hits and a minus-4 rating over five appearances this season. Nyquist's 75-point effort in 81 regular-season games in 2023-24 was always likely going to be unrepeatable, but fantasy managers expect more of forwards seeing the top-line minutes and power-play time he's received so far. He doesn't play much of a physical game, so he has to maintain strong offense to be an option in most fantasy formats.
