Knight stopped 22 of 26 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Buffalo, with the Sabres' final goal getting scored into an empty net.
The Panthers grabbed a 1-0 lead midway through the first period, but the next four goals were all by the Sabres, with Knight getting a clean look at two of them. It wasn't a great start to the season for the 23-year-old netminder, but he should get a chance to shake it off with Florida playing back-to-back games Monday and Tuesday as the team completes a road swing in Boston and Columbus.
