Kiersted was called up from AHL Charlotte on Monday, David Dwork of Local 10 Miami reports.
An injury to Radko Gudas (upper body) in Saturday's game against Seattle prompted the move. Kiersted, who has appeared in 10 games with the Panthers this year, may be in the lineup Tuesday versus Winnipeg.
