Panthers' Matt Kiersted: Heads to minors

Kiersted was reassigned to AHL Charlotte on Wednesday, per Colby Guy of Florida Hockey Now.

Kiersted was a healthy scratch in his last seven contests with the Panthers before being sent down. When he did play with Florida, Kiersted recorded a goal and four points in 20 games while averaging 9:51 of ice time. His demotion corresponds with Casey Fitzgerald being claimed off waivers by Florida from Buffalo.
