Carlsson signed a one-year, two-way contract with Florida on Saturday.
Carlsson generated 20 goals and 54 points in 61 AHL games with Charlotte last season. He also appeared in two NHL contests with the Panthers during the 2022-23 campaign. The 25-year-old defender is likely to spend most of next season in the minors.
