Savoie was recalled from AHL Bakersfield on Monday.
Savoie was sent to the minors in late September, but he'll rejoin the NHL club ahead of the regular season. However, he made just one NHL appearance last season and will likely report back to Bakersfield before Oilers' regular-season opener against Winnipeg on Wednesday.
